About Cindy Reyes

My journey into the restaurant world began in Texas, watching my aunt run Los Patrones. From those early days, I knew I wanted to create a place where people could enjoy great food and community. That dream, however, wasn’t a straight line.

After learning the ropes at my aunt’s and later managing multiple Subway locations, I felt the pull to build something truly my own. In 2013, that meant taking a leap of faith: moving my family from Galveston to New Orleans. With hard-earned savings and a vision, I began the process of opening Burritos Grill.

Finding the perfect location, navigating permits, and transforming a space into the first Burritos Grill was a whirlwind of challenges and triumphs. I remember long nights, countless decisions, and the unwavering support of my family. Opening day was a dream come true, and seeing the community embrace our food was incredibly rewarding.

As Burritos Grill thrived, the desire to expand grew. In 2020, even amidst the uncertainties of the pandemic, I began the process of opening our second location in Chalmette. That process was even more complex, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Securing supplies, adapting to new regulations, and ensuring the safety of our team and customers became paramount.

Now, as we prepare to open our third location in Slidell this July, I reflect on the journey. Each opening has been a unique learning experience, filled with late nights, problem-solving, and immense gratitude. It’s the support of my family, the dedication of my staff, and the loyalty of our customers that makes each new beginning possible. We’re excited to bring our passion and flavors to Slidell, and we look forward to serving you!
